sitting on 5.1 acres and 500 feet from a trout stocked river. Hiking and biking trails
abound. Snowshoe and Canaan Valley ski resorts are one hour away. Two state parks are
each thirty minutes away.The village includes a general store, library, museum, historic
square, renowned Swiss and German restaurants. Major tourist holidays include New Year's
Celebration, Fasnacht (Saturday before Ash Wednesday), Maple Syrup Festival (3rd weekend
of March), Ramp Festival (4th Saturday of April), Helvetia Fair (2nd weekend of September),
Ox Roast (June).
