The historic 1780 stone house is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley town of Lexington. It adjorns the Virginia
Military Institute post and is just a short distance from Washingtion and Lee University and Lee Chapel where Gen. Lee
is buried. The VMI sporst complex is just a short walk up the street. The Chessie Trail and Woods Creek Trail start just
down the hill and are wonderful walking-nature trails.
Enjoy a beautiful sunset or view of the garden from the new deck just off the master bedroom. Cook on the grill on the
garden patio. Enjoy a cozy evening by the wood burning fireplace (firewood provided) or have a romantic evening with a
fire in the fireplace in the bedroom. TV and VCR are provided. Phone for local calls and credit card long distance access
is available. The fully equipped kitchen has a full sized refridgerator and stove. All linens are funished. There is a washer
/ dryer for your convenience.
