Our house at Surfside is beachfront (unobstructed) on the exclusive 11
block Pedestrian Beach where cars are not allowed. Surfsides Pedestrian
Beach area now has an additional 50 to 100 feet of sand, due to beach
nourishment by the Freeport Jetty Project. Surfside is less than
60 miles from S.W. Houston and offers convenient and uncongested acces via
the new Rt. 288 South Freeway. Surfside provides all the amenities of a
beachfront community including access to Galveston via the San Luis Pass
Bridge.
"The Chateau", a large 3 bedroom beachfront house is set at an angle to
enhance your view of the Gulf. The large kitchen / den area highlights the
unusual floor plan which is also set at an angle to accent the exposure
to the beach. The dramatic features that make this special include a large
partially covered porch, tasteful wicker decor, wall to wall carpeting, and
a compliment of modern conveniences. Features include central heat and air,
dishwasher, microwave, washer / dryer, phone, cable color TV, VCR, a charcoal
grill, covered porch, ceiling fan and outside shower.
