( 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, Sleeps 6 )
More Florida Vacation Rentals

Hollywood / Hollywood Beach

Minutes from the Ft. Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport, our complex is on A1A (South Ocean Drive). The building is built
on the beach and is mid-way between South Beach and Ft. Lauderdale. From our beach, you can see both places. The fabulous
colors and design of our building is the first clue that you have made a perfect decision on your vacation stay. Arriving at the
complex pull under the Porte Cochere and let one of our 24-hour valets park your car, take your groceries or baggage up to your
suite; view the beautiful landscaping and then enter the lobby.
Rich wood panelling and comfortable yet elegant furnishings await you. The security guard (24 hours) greets you and you use your
security key to enter the elevator area. You will always be notified by telephone by the security officer when you have guests. Enter
the perfectly polished brass and marble elevator to your suite.
A few steps later, you have your choice of entering either a formal main entrance or the service door which leads into the kitchen.ng the main door, you immediately notice the tiled entrance and two large old Chinese Garden Statues greeting you. Past the
entrance hall you can see an Antique Ocean-Green Onyx Table surmounted by a white Carrara Marble Lamp. Entering the living
room you notice the vertical blinds which when closed during the day still allows light to penetrate because of the specifically
designed air holes technology. Even when closed, you can subtly view the ocean. Whenthe color from the ocean and surf
cascade all around you. Then you realize that the living room has floor to ceiling mirrors reflecting the water.
Comfortable furniture in the living room is the order of the day. An Edwardian Chesterfield leather sofa separates the living from the
dining room. Along both sides of the sofa is a luxurious down filled sectional: the two recliners on one side and the sleeper sofa on
the other side. All are wildly complemented by the Aubusson inspired hooked rug that runs the entire span of the living and dining
rooms.
Grecian marble tables are used for coffee tables and a French inlaid mahogany table is there for the telephone and a 1920's lamp that
is designed in the shape of a pineapple. A fabulous Art Deco floor lamp is also in the room exuding its silver, peach and glass colors.
All of the furniture is comfortable allowing you to enjoy the big screen television. The dining room has six beautifully upholstered
Directoire inspired chairs around an Edwardian English dining room table. The extremely large iron and white Carrarra marble buffet
allows you the opportunity to serve your guests without leaving their company. When lighted two English Silvered Deco Torchere
Lamps on the Buffet will give you that romantic "glow" that personifies luxury beach living. The palm leaf inspired chandelier is on a
dimmer switch allowing you to further set the mood.
In the breakfast nook, French leather dining room chairs surround a white Carrara marble round table top. An English Georgian
breakfront is behind the table now used to house stemware for your use. An antique bronze Russian chandelier hangs above the
table.
The kitchen is off the breakfast nook on one side and the balcony on the other. The balcony looks directly on the beach. The water
is so close that you can actually hear the waves crashing upon the sand.
The master bedroom suite is huge. A king size bed with a Louis XV inspired headboard and other luxurious French furniture with
marble tops awaits you. A new 25" TV with VCR has been placed in the master suite for your viewing pleasure. Peach colored walls
and luxury white and gold carpeting all finish the look of "Fit for Royalty." Most of all a large window, the length of the suite, gives
you another view of the Ocean. This Suite also has a large walk-in closet and a marble bathroom with a large Roman tub /
Jacuzzi.
The Second Bedroom has a queen bed and is more contemporary in look and design, again with a large window overlooking the
ocean. The second bathroom is directly across from the bedroom and has a white and gold theme with shower / bathtub.
This unit is on the ninth floor --- just high enough to see views from the balcony such as manatees periodically swimming by or luxury
cruise ships coming and going from the two nearby ports of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. You can look directly down on the Olympic
sized swimming pool as well as the ocean. All rooms have a view of the ocean with the exception of the bathrooms. From eating,
entertaining and balcony areas the view is direct ocean. Upon the balcony, looking south, you see the buildings of Miami / South
Beach, and to the North you see Ft. Lauderdale.
Aside from all the fun things to do outside our condominium complex, the swimming pool is one of the largest and nicest in South
Florida. Swim or sunbathe around the pool on some of our lounge furniture; or if you only like to feel the always-refreshing breezes off
the ocean, then recline under one of our covered areas. In addition, the Jacuzzi, shuffleboard and bar-be-que pits are in the swimming
pool area and are there for you to use.our private gate around the pool using your security key and step out onto the
meticulously clean beach for a quick dip or leisurely stroll.
Hollywood Beach is well known in Florida as having one of the most beautiful beaches with its clear beautiful water, wonderful waves
that are ideal for body surfing, swimming or just plain floating...it feels so good. After reentering the swimming pool area, you can
change and shower in our change room or decide to return to your suite. Your security key the doors for entrance back into
the building and after a short elevator ride you are again at the entrance to your home away from home.
The "Miami Herald" newspaper's reader's poll recently named Hollywood Beach as "the best place to take out-of-towners." Hollywood
Beach provides everything you could desire or need to live the tropical lifestyle - lush landscaping, tall royal palms, fabulous beaches
and a 3-mile long Hollywood Boardwalk that's situated between one of the most beautiful beaches on the Atlantic Ocean and the
Intercoastal Waterway. Leisurely strolls, outdoor dining and beautiful romantic sunsets are all here for the taking.
Our brilliant downtown is the next "In" place in all of South Florida. Listen to live jazz or symphonies from all over the world in
Hollywood Circle's Shell; or eat in some gastronomically chic restaurants. Dine in a 1950's diner or enjoy the countless "twilight
specials" in some of the best haute cuisine and down-home cooking restaurants in Florida. French, German, Hungarian, Portuguese,
Romanian and Spanish are just some of the languages you hear "floating"
For the sophisticated to the sublime, shopping is a joy with small boutiques in and around Hollywood Circle; or travel a few miles
south to world famous Aventura Mall and the specialty shops of Bal Harbour, or north to the specialty shops of Las Olas in Ft.
Lauderdale. The Sawgrass Mills outlet stores are also close by for all of us bargain hunters.
During the day, go to the races. The world famous Hollywood Dog Track is minutes away as is Gulfstream Park, home of the Breeders
Cup and one of thoroughbred racing's great tracks. Day cruises, gambling cruises and boat rentals are available just up the street.
For golf enthusiasts, there are 22 public golf courses in the immediate vicinity as well as a number of private golf courses. For those
dull Sundays (and sometimes Monday night) why not go to a Miami Dolphins game, the stadium is less than 30 minutes away. As
you can surmise, there is a lot to do in Hollywood Beach. Your stay will be memorable for a long time to come. Don't forget your
camera and camcorder!
