When visiting the beautiful Ouachita Mountains, stay in this private home Bed and Breakfast nestled in the foothills
just two miles out of the county seat town of Mena, Arkansas. Historically known as "Willowbrook," this charming
stone cottage was the home of Vera Petrocet, author and one of the first female radio program hosts in the 40's.
Surrounded by a stone and ivy fence, the ten acres is landscaped with roses and perrennials, and has a waterfall
just behind the cottage. We have also added a hottub for the patio, overlooking the stream. Inside, curl up by the big
stone fireplace or sit in the sunroom. There is a TV with no reception.
Two guest bedrooms are available: one with an private bath with jet tub and view of the waterfall is furnished in
antiques; the other also furnished with antiques has full bath access just steps down the hall. Continental breakfast.
Discounts for longer stays and for repeat customers. No children, please. Reservations and payment three weeks
in advance. Close to fishing, hiking, and scenic Talimena Drive over the Talihena Mountains.
